    • JEI is an acronym that stands for Jaeneung Education Institute. In South Korea, where JEI was founded, jaeneung translates to the word “talent.”

    • If you are interested in learning more about how to become a JEI Franchisee, you must first complete the online interest form. Once you have submitted your contact information, a member of our Franchise Development team will reach out shortly.

    • The franchisee must have at least a four-year college degree, a minimum net-worth of $150,000, liquid assets of $75,000 and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card Holders).

    • Experience in education is not necessary, though a background in education and/or business is preferred. Many of our franchisees have professional/corporate experience or have an immense passion for working to improve the educational lives of students within their local community.

    • The initial franchise term is for five years with a five-year renewal option.

    • The initial franchise fee is $22,500. This fee includes the use of JEI branding and its trademarks, proprietary workbooks and materials, access to our business-know-how, and other franchise-related support. The franchise fee also includes the fees and materials for the introductory New Franchise Training (NFT) program created to prepare all new franchisees for the opening and operation of their center.

    • Absolutely! We provide some very generous incentives to help you get started on your new business venture.

    • Our unique yet simple royalty structure rewards centers with higher enrollments based on a sliding scale. It is the lowest among who we deem to be our competitors and is based on the number of subjects* enrolled at your center.

      *A subject refers to a single program taken by a student and multiple subjects can be taken by a single student.

    • After qualifying as a JEI Franchisee, you will partake in a comprehensive training program conducted at one of our two corporate offices. This training will provide you with the tools and methods needed to own, operate, and manage your Center effectively.

    • Yes, JEI offers generous protected territories to allow franchisees to focus on their center growth without worrying about encroachment.

    • We offer our franchisees the opportunity to own, operate, and manage multiple JEI Learning Centers.

    • JEI offers continuous support throughout the entire process handling any questions or concerns you have along the way. Several times a year, JEI Support Professionals provide specific attention to individual Centers through center visits, monthly and annual meetings, ongoing training, and localized and national marketing campaigns.
