Established in 1977, JEI Learning Center is the leading supplemental education brand focused around innovation, inclusiveness, confidence, and long-term success.
In 1977, JEI Learning Center first opened its doors in Seoul, South Korea. Founder and Chairman, Sung Hoon Park was a visionary educator and entrepreneur with an innovative idea to better the future of communities across the world. He developed the JEI Self-Learning Method ®, a self-paced, individualized program that assists students in mastering mathematical and language concepts in small, easy-to-follow steps.
After achieving great success in South Korea, Mr. Park brought the JEI Self-Learning Method ® to the United States and established JEI Learning Centers, LLC. in 1992. Over the years, JEI expanded to Canada, Hong Kong, China, India, Australia, and New Zealand. JEI’s great success has been attributed to its philosophy that all children have the potential to become creative and talented individuals.
Having expanded supplemental education centers in eight different countries, JEI has become a global leader with millions of students being taught around the world. JEI has since evolved into a multimedia entity, involved in various business endeavors such as publishing, broadcasting, IT, printing, distribution, and training with plans for further growth.
My experience with JEI started way back when my own kids were attending classes. The curricula really worked for them and that personal connection I have with the brand comes across when I speak with other parents.
Having previously been a student and teacher at JEI Learning Center, it was JEI's rich history that helped me strengthen my vision of what I wanted to portray to students and parents in my Center.
