Kentucky’s Education Landscape

The education system in Kentucky comprises about 600 elementary schools spread across the state. Kentucky also has about 250 middle schools. These schools feature about 42,000 teachers and are managed by various school districts. These school districts are managed by the Kentucky Board of Education, the state body that is responsible for the regulation of schools and learning activities in the state.
